Caiman Crocodile has more cartilage than crocodile and alligator - stiffer, more "breakable". You often see the pattern on women's bags of slightly lower quality. The best use for belts is leather from the flank. Even on a large animal, the flank itself is too short, so such a belt must be spliced.
