BREDAL Belts was founded in 2009. The idea was to produce high-quality leather belts for men, an idea that had already been conceived and developed during Bredal's time at Levi`s Nordics 30 years ago. In the luxury market, the right partners are absolutely crucial - it took time to find them.
BREDAL isn’t a leather belt—it’s a statement. It’s the final detail, the first thing people notice. The finishing touch to any outfit. Designed in Norway, crafted in the USA.
The hallmark of an exotic leather belt is that it has two layers. They all have a lining (backing) of Belgian or Norwegian cowhide, combined with an exotic animal - such as crocodile, alligator, ostrich, bison, lizard, etc.
These products have been on the market in Norway since 2009 in 8 of the finest men's stores in the country - such as Gunnar Øye and L`ESCALIER in Oslo and Bogart Cosmo in Trondheim. This was discontinued in 2021.
The time has come to expand the BREDAL brand with exotic leather accessories and offer women an exciting selection, such as belts, handbags, clutches, and the like. New for 2024: Wild by BREDAL exotic sneakers. It is CITES proof (shows legality) for all species - except ostrich, bison, and ray who don't need this. BREDAL - on the wild side - the online store is operated and owned by Bredal & Partnere AS - a marketing and branding company that has been in operation since 1999.
