This article focuses specifically on our one piece belts made from Louisiana Wild Alligator. All the alligator skin we use comes from wild alligators in the swamp areas around New Orleans, one of the world’s most regulated and sustainable areas for harvesting alligator.

25 manual operations – true craftsmanship from start to finish
A Bredal Wild belt goes through around 25 manual operations before it is complete. Some of the most important steps include:

Cutting and pattern placement. The hide is cut by hand to ensure perfect symmetry and natural flow in the pattern.
Lining and structure Lining in Belgian cowhide gives the belt strength, flexibility, and durability.
Edge finishing and polishing The edges are finished and polished by hand to create a smooth, luxurious finish.
Hole adjustment and length Each belt is individually adjusted for the perfect fit.

Handmade silver buckles
The belts can be delivered with handmade silver buckles, designed exclusively for Bredal Wild. These are produced in small batches by skilled silversmiths and give the belt a unique and timeless look.

As one of the few designers in the world, I have personal experience with hunting, sourcing, and documenting exotic skins. I have personally hunted 15 alligators in the USA and know the CITES regulations in detail.
