Photos of animal species used for belts
Exotic leather types we use in our belts
At Bredal Wild, we use only leather from carefully selected animal species — all ethically sourced and in compliance with CITES regulations for the international trade in exotic materials. Each hide has its own unique texture, pattern, and character, making every belt a one-of-a-kind piece of craftsmanship.
We work with the following animal species:
- Wild Alligator — robust and distinctive with pronounced scale patterns
- Tegu lizard — fine and even texture with delicate details
- Ostrich — recognizable follicle pattern, extremely durable
- Yellow Anaconda — striking natural pattern in warm tones
- Stingray — unique pearly surface pattern
- Python — classic snakeskin texture in various sizes
- Freshwater Crocodile — soft and even with subtle scales
- Caiman Crocodile — harder and more pronounced than crocodile
- Buffalo — natural and rugged with a rustic character
